A permitted outlet for your residual waste
Westcombe is a permitted non-hazardous landfill with its own transfer station. If you run skips, a materials recovery facility, demolition or civil engineering work, we give you a dependable local outlet for the material that cannot be recycled.

Collection, haulage and onward disposal
Need waste moved as well as disposed of? As a registered upper tier carrier, broker and dealer we can arrange collection and haulage of non-hazardous waste and broker onward recovery or disposal through permitted facilities.

- Brokerage for streams we do not accept ourselves, placed with suitably permitted outlets.

The work behind a compliant site
A landfill is only as good as the systems around it. These are the activities covered by our permit and carried out every week at Westcombe. Unglamorous work, done week in, week out.

Leachate
Collection, storage and treatment on site, with permitted discharge and tankering to licensed treatment where needed.
- 02
Landfill gas
Gas collection and management in line with the permit, including flaring and energy recovery where appropriate.
- 03
Monitoring
Scheduled sampling of groundwater, surface water, leachate and gas, independently analysed and reported to the Environment Agency.
- 04
Restoration
Capping and restoration of completed areas using inert material, with long-term aftercare.
